Over 2,000 haumana (students) and their kumu (teachers) championed passing a resolution to designate August 08, 2023, as a day to Celebrate Hawaiian Honeycreepers this past legislative session. Join us across the pae ‘āina on 8.08 and throughout the month as we highlight the efforts of these haumana and celebrate the relationships and conservation efforts to mālama the Hawaiian Honeycreepers.
